Tremblant is the classic long-distance run out of Montréal: ninety minutes north on the 15 and the 117, door to door, with your skis or your luggage already in the car.
Winter changes the calculus. The 117 north of Saint-Jérôme can be slow in weather, and the last stretch into the village needs a driver who has done it before in snow. Our vehicles run winter tires and our chauffeurs plan for the season rather than the forecast.
We serve the resort village and pedestrian base, the surrounding chalets, and the regional airport at La Macaza.
Frequently asked
- How long is the drive?About an hour and a half in clear conditions. We build in more for winter weekends.
- Can you carry ski equipment?Yes. Ask for the Yukon XL or Suburban if the party is carrying a full set.
- Do you do YUL to Tremblant direct?Yes, that is one of our most common long-distance runs.
Questions
The run north, answered.
How long does the drive really take?
About an hour and a half in clear conditions, roughly 130 km from downtown. Friday afternoons in ski season are the honest exception: northbound between Saint-Jérôme and Sainte-Adèle can add half an hour or more. We build that into the pickup time rather than discovering it on the road with you in the back.
Can you collect us at the airport and drive straight to the resort?
Yes, and it is the most requested version of this trip. Flight tracked, luggage and skis loaded at the terminal, then north — no transfer, no shuttle, no waiting on a bus for passengers you have never met. From YUL it is roughly the same ninety minutes as from downtown.
What about winter?
Quebec law puts winter tires on every passenger vehicle from 1 December to 15 March, so that part is not a selling point — everyone has them. The difference is the chauffeur. Route 117 north of Saint-Jérôme in a February storm is not a road on which to learn, and nobody driving you is learning.
Where in the Tremblant area do you go?
The pedestrian village and the resort hotels, the chalets around Lac Tremblant and toward Mont-Blanc, Saint-Jovite for the shops and restaurants, and the golf courses through the summer. If you have an address, we have a door.
Should I book the return at the same time?
Yes, and not only for the discount of doing it once. Sunday afternoon southbound is the busiest stretch of that week on the road, and the cars still free on a February Sunday were booked by the Thursday before.
The route
Getting there, and back.
A-15 North to exit 89 at Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, then Route 117 North to exit 119, Montée Ryan. Roughly an hour and a half from downtown or from the airport. The corridor has its own page — seasonal timings, what slows it down and when — at Montréal to Mont-Tremblant.
