- BookingBook early for peak weekends
On an occasion, the arrival is part of the event. Too early and you are standing about; too late and you have made an entrance nobody enjoyed, least of all you.
We plan arrival time backwards from the moment that matters, and we build in the margin the evening needs. For weddings and multi-car occasions, vehicles are coordinated so a party arrives together rather than in instalments.
Grand Prix weekend books out. So do the first weekends of the gala season. If the date is fixed, the booking should be too.
Questions
Weddings and events, answered.
Can one booking cover a whole evening instead of separate trips?
Yes. Send the schedule — ceremony, photographs, reception, the run home at the end — and it is quoted as one engagement with the car staying with you between stops, rather than three bookings that each have to find you again.
How many passengers fit?
Up to six, with luggage or a dress that should not be folded, in an Escalade ESV, Suburban or Yukon XL. Three in the Mercedes-Benz sedan. For a wedding party we would rather send a second vehicle than ask anyone to arrive creased.
What about Grand Prix weekend?
It is the one weekend of the year when every car in Montréal is spoken for. We have still found a way to carry the clients who called us — but call early, because in June the constraint is the city, not us. Prices do not move for the weekend.
Do you drive to venues outside the city?
Regularly. The Eastern Townships, Bromont, Mont-Tremblant, Québec City and Charlevoix are all normal event runs, quoted as a flat fare with the return leg built in rather than left to be sorted out at midnight.
What if the evening runs long?
It usually does. Tell us in advance if the timing is loose and we will quote it that way. On the night, the chauffeur stays with you — nobody is leaving a wedding party on a sidewalk because a booking form said eleven o’clock.
